What To Expect From A Psychic Reading

Written by  | 31st July 2016
My thoughts.....

What would you expect from a psychic reading? Do you seek an immediate straightforward answer, a simple solution, instant gratification, truthfulness; or prefer only to hear what is pleasing to the ear? If so, you might want to consider how beneficial and helpful that would really be? It is my personal belief that predictions, rather like the weather forecast, inclined to be changeable.  Therefore, like the weather, predictions can also be unpredictable and cannot always be reliable.  Planet earth has a different time clock than that of the realms of spirit. Statements such as, something will happen come September, might be accurate, but it doesn’t necessarily follow that it will be this, next or even the following September.

Psychics are looked upon by some as being fortune tellers. Psychics don’t claim to hold all of the answers, because at times, wires can get crossed. The purpose of the psychic is to connect with the client and attune to their vibration and to pick-up on the problem and attempt to give the appropriate wisest guidance, usually as perceived from the reader’s perspective.  Psychics don’t have the ability to solve a problem for you, but with sensitivity, empathy and understanding can give guidance to help resolve the problem by giving the recipient encouragement and direction to take responsibility and to use their own initiative. Psychics do not possess magic wands and a supply of fairy dust. A reading will indicate opportunities and   guidance as to the potential outcome, so the recipient can recognise those opportunities as they present themselves and put them to positive use enabling them to consider other choices. They shouldn’t tell the enquirer what to do, only give them intuitive guidelines; the responsibility should always remain with the enquirer, as to whether the guidance given is taken on board or ignored; if at the time the recipient finds it difficult to accept, it is their choice.

When a particular or a similar question, on a certain issue continually arises and a problem appears to be ongoing and repetitive, the question should be, why; why is the same pattern reoccurring or the same attitude being adopted? Passed mistakes, errors of judgement and the choices we make should be the question; are those always down to someone else, whereby often, the easiest option is to remain the victim. Without exception, we are all students of the Great University of Life and we are here to learn,  mature mentally, emotionally and most importantly to grow spiritually.  Either through naivety or ignorance, we find a lack of willingness to change; adjust our perspective, or alter certain behaviour patterns, otherwise we will remain stuck,  or life will continue to remain a burden.

In this life-time there are those among us through no fault of their own are not in a position to help themselves, and they are in need of love, compassion, support and understanding.

We all carry an inner child within us -- the part that remembers joy, fear, hurt, and wonder. It's the part of us that craves protection from all things bad and scary.
