STRAWBERRY OR ROSE MOON – MONDAY JUNE 17TH

Hello everyone. We have a gorgeous and fascinating moon to behold on June 17th. It is known as the Strawberry Moon, or Hot Moon or Rose Moon. This moon is a lovely shade of red not dissimilar to the strawberries that are currently ripening. The 'Little Scarlet' is one of the wild strawberries that were imported to Great Britain in the early 1900's. The flavour is supposed to be succulent and gently sweet!

This beautiful moon time is a great time to cleanse crystals, stones, cards, even books and water. It is also said to have an amazingly joyous and uplifting affect on our moods. So look for this moon and get out things you want to cleanse and get them on the window sills for the night of June 17th.

Ancient tribes suggest gazing upon this beautiful moon and naming all the things you are grateful for in your life and asking the universe to bring you 3 more blessings this season and getting ready to accept these blessings over the summer. So figure out what you truly want to manifest and get out there and ask for it and believe in the power of the ROSE or Strawberry Moon and the universe to bring it to you. 

Also, many covens of women get together at this time to walk in the ROSE MOON or STRAWBERRY moon and sing and pray for many things. So create a night out with your girls and sing some songs and create some blessings.

The Strawberry Moon coincides with SUMMER SOLSTICE every 20 years or so which is usually June 20th, 21st and 22nd.
