Spirit Knows Best

Today I want to share with you some things that I have picked up from spirit over my years of working closely with higher guidance. Spirit always knows what’s best for us, don’t think otherwise! How often have you wanted something so, so much? You think this will make you happy then some time down the line realised it wasn’t for you at all! But at that time of ‘wanting’ it was the real deal, in your opinion.  This is where spiritual guidance comes in, trying to guide you onto that other path. Many, sadly, do not follow what is best for them, may be more difficult, to be honest if you know that Spirit has your back then that knowing should be enough to help you at difficult times because Spirit is always there for us…it’s that still small voice within us, the voice of intuition, saying, try this, trust yourself, things will work out. If only we have faith to trust, alas. The ego wants it, like a child who wants to fill themselves up with sugary sweets, candy, etc, but the loving parent says no, it’s not good for you, too much will make you sick! This is how we need to be with Spirit. What we want is not good for us, it will make us sick! 

 

To overcome this ego, not an easy task I must say, but let’s face it, nothing worthwhile having is an easy task! But it can be done, it has been done! It is being done! The peace and happiness it instills can’t be bought! So if you feel that you’re struggling at this time, maybe got few readings on the issue where Spirit has come in and guiding you softly onto this other path but the ego still wants the ‘sweeties’, then why not trust Spirit and just see where this new path will go. Trust and faith in Spirit is a gift. 

 

Know that there is this ‘other’ within you who does know what’s best, knows everything that’s happened to you, absolutely everything, right down to the minutest detail, nothing is not known with Spirit, that wants what is best for you. So if you’re feeling doubtful or worried over an issue, try and find few minutes daily just to still your mind, thoughts will come in, let them but just let them go. There is no need to sit in fancy positions, can even be done lying down when you first awake. The more you can do this, the more you’re allowing the Knower (Spirit) into your life, where you will feel this presence within, guiding you with that soft touch of wisdom onto the path that is best for you. The present moment is everything, nothing happens in the past or the future, everything always happens in the present moment. What happened yesterday really did happen in the present moment. When we are in tune with the present, which, as far as I can see, can only be attained by us stilling our minds, having that few minutes daily if practice, this is when miracles do happen.
