Fifty years On

Fifty years on…….

Fifty years on and we are celebrating 50 years since mankind first set foot on our moon.. But how far have we really come?  What do we actually know? There is a lot that science can prove or disprove but what about the things it can't?  There are so many unanswered questions, secrets, magic and beliefs that science cannot come close to explaining...

One thing I find interesting is something that science can explain... And it ties in with my belief that there is a higher purpose and the universe has meaning for us all.  It's up to us to discover and believe.

Everything on this planet of ours is made up of carbon. Just in one human being alone there are billions of atoms of carbon, so u only need to imagine how much there is on the entire planet!  It's a lot! And where does it come from? It comes where all other materials come from ….. The stars... Every atom of every material comes from a dying star in the universe… So without the death of neither a star we would not be, nor our planet...It brings to mind the meaning of the death card in tarot… A dying star creates so much life and material and change.  We are made of stars. We come from the design of the universe.  Everything we are was once before a star.

99% percent of everything on this earth of ours is a result of a dying star.  What a transformation.  What a gift this universe gives to us. 

The other thing I find interesting is also the fact that you can make diamonds out of carbon too.. 

So from stars to life to diamonds.  As Riannon sings  “shine bright like a diamond..” We come from the stars and we can all be diamonds. 

And science can prove that to be true.. Maybe one day there'll be an explanation for many other things we don't fully understand and maybe one day we will get to see more of what the universe has to offer… until then I'm happy to be part of it all .
