What could be holding you back from this is the need for safety and comfort which can be expressed in many different ways. People find it very hard to look at this openly and so we all cover it up because we are frightened of feeling vulnerable and dependent. We are scared of the material security and comfort being taken away but we really need to look at our feelings and our every day needs, express our self in different ways.
