This is only to you. You are not responsible to other people even though you may feel somewhat of a hypocrite for not taking some action. It is not your battle. You are being asked to turn away from the material matters and go for more high minded spiritual affairs, for this is where you felt dissatisfied with life in the past and you're adopting a much more spiritual attitude. You are now sticking to the tried and tested routes based on your traditional actions and your attitudes for you know there is more to life that material acquisition.
