The Fool is a card where new beginnings and the start of something new will lead to confusion, but these changes are necessary, and without change, things stagnate. These new beginnings will inspire your life not to be the same again, for the better, and the fool works with the planet Uranus. It shows there's some jealousy going on from people close to you -whether these are colleagues or so-called friends, or even members of family, where things are a bit prickly is for you to work out. You really need to watch what you're saying to other people, for people are talking about you and gossiping. You're struggling along the best you can, feeling that you're being as ethical and moralistic as you can be, but the people around you are not particularly happy. The gossips are talking, and maybe you're even feeling a little bit bullied by someone close to you. This is not a tangible situation, and although you're struggling, you need to free yourself from this old pattern of behaviour. As with all change, disruption is always around us, and you are realising that you're moving away from the old into the new. There are lots of last minute surprises and lots of shocks; in fact you're probably finding this is difficult to bear. But when we move forwards we tend to leave old friends and old habits behind, but while we are moving on, other people tend not to progress at the same pace as you, within their spiritual development. It may feel materialistic sometimes, but you must look at the way in which you live your life, and how the components fit together, and the fact that the lessons you're learned means it's time for another chapter. This can be quite sad to let go of close friends, or family, or even colleagues at work, who we once felt we had a friendship or a rapport with. But the fool is telling you there are new starts and new friendships to come. But in order to make way for the new, we must not cling to the past. So the five of swords is explaining that you are not vibrating on the same frequency that you were, and that it's time to let go of the friendships and the ties that emotionally affect the movement forwards to your spiritual development. Do not feel that you are letting anybody down it is simply life moving on at different places with different people at different times.
