Perhaps things have been taken away from us making us feel demoralised and that we have gone through a degrading experience for we have felt that we must receive help from others. Money is certainly not good - you are handing out more than you are actually earning. This is a humbling experience. You are being asked to look at why this is happening. A complete re-think is necessary here for the Empress is asking you to value the possessions that are around you and to put an emphasis on friendships, love and romance. Indeed you're being asked to look at everything that is around you including the open space and the environment in which you live or work. The Empress means that you are taking on a mothering figure within your life where you must love, care and nurture what you have. There is plenty of wealth, health and abundance for you but you must come up with a plan as to how you feel satisfied and provided for in a material sense. Maybe you need to re-think do you really need to live where you are? Is it really satisfying your happiness? Do you really feel a sense of well being or is something asking you to look hard and move away from what you are doing right now. If you are in a position to help others and offer your services, your time, your experience or knowledge to those that need some direction and guidance then this is how you should be spending your time. You may find a system of bartering your talents and skills for something you need in return. You may have gone through a situation, a feeling that everything around you has been taken away causing you to feel vulnerable. This is because your status and security has been threatened but the Empress is telling you it is a new start and that you must plant the seed of what is important to start again. Make things happen from within yourself for there is some resource that you are capable of giving to the human race, your family and yourself that is so necessary that you have been pushed into a situation for a complete re-think of your image, your attitude and the way that you conduct your life even down to the open space and the environment that's around you. Self-sufficiency is what's necessary here and for you to look within yourself and see what contributions you can make that will provide you with material security for the future.
