You've got some high ideals and you are a fair and decent human being. You offer people courtesy and kindness and you need someone who you can really have a conversation with. You're not someone who tolerates quarrels or selfishness, which is why you must leave this outmoded and no longer viable group of friends or colleagues. They are just expressing jealousy, frustration and are choosing to be moody and aggressive.
