The Energy Pendulum

Energy is what we are, we are all made up of atoms and ions. We vibrate on frequencies. These frequencies are either high vibration, or low vibrations. Imagine a pendulum swinging. When you are happy, satisfied with your current situation. Be that relationship, financial. Or any other situation that brings your heart joy and fills you with abundance ad contentment, then you vibrate on a high frequency imagine he pendulum is swinging high!!

Now lets say that things are just not going your way, you lost a job you loved, or a pet or family member all in the same year. Now your energy pendulum is swinging very low because you are vibrating at a much lower frequency. What does this man? That we always have to be happy? NO no one can always be happy, because life gets in the way of our joy, things interrupt it, some things we can control and some things we cannot control. But one thing we can always control is our response and our outlook.

What does this mean? OK so lets be real, as much as we may want it to, our lives won't always go as planned. There will be setbacks, roadblocks and just nuisance problems that spoil our plans. We may not be able to control these things all the time, but we can control our reactions to them. We can choose to play the victim and be miserable all the time or look at the situation objectively and see what could we learn from it. The universe isn't punishing us! It is trying to teach us something, are we seeing te deeper lesson here? Or are we stuck on autopilot and going through the same revolving door to nowhere!?

Do not allow a bad situation to destroy you! Do not give away your power so freely. You are in control of how you respond to these circumstances. How you respond will inevitably determine the outcome tat you will get. So here are some steps I do and I find them helpful. Take some quiet time for yourself and sit quietly and meditate. Close your eyes and focus on your breath. Allow whatever thoughts or feelings to drift in and out again without resistance.

Stop playing the blame game! When things go wrong this does not mean its your fault! That right there is negative self talk and needs to be corrected. Or it will contaminate your energy. Don't play the victim. This is this is the opposite of the blame game, this is when you take on the poor pitiful me nothing goes my way ever! Attitude and feel sorry for yourself. Equally unhelpful and equally damaging. Instead ask yourself these questions, 'am I on the right path? Do I really want to do this? Am I doing this out of love? Or out of obligation? Do I feel a sense of purpose? Am I doing something meaningful for myself? Or am I just benefiting others? What makes me happy? You may be surprised by what you hear in your deep meditation.

Lastly be kind to yourself, don't be so hard on yourself when things don't go as you planned. Perfection is an illusion, one can always strive for it few achieve it and many feel its simply out of reach. I'd rather be happy than perfect!
