The Thinning Veil Where Two Worlds Meet

As the dark nights draw in and the daylight becomes shorter, the colder weather enters, causing many to retreat into their homes seeking warmth and cosying up by a warm fire with woollen blankets and hot broth, and crafting some of the gathered lavender, fallen leaves and hedgerows into winter wreaths for warding off unwelcome spirit callers who may have lost their way among a highway of lost souls wandering the earth realms, seeking solace around warm fireplaces and homes.

They come calling and knocking on doors from the spirit realms.

Not everyone welcomes these souls.

But as they knock on my door, a warm welcome is given to the extra spirit visitors who arrive at this time of year.

Their hearts are often heavy, seeking out long-lost loved ones, and some of them have been traversing spirit highways and realms for a long time, searching for a soul able to hear or see them and help them in their plights.

Flowers go to sleep and trees take stock of the year's natural growth.

All of these things bring our soul to a deeper awareness and place of introspection as a stillness befalls the earth, only akin and specific to the October–November season, as these souls wander the ethereal realms seeking solace in a home where a human can hear, see or feel them, with a warm heart offering them comfort, solace and healing on what has often been a long, lonely and unhappy road.

Welcoming Spirit Visitors

For me, I often welcome these lost souls who arrive in my home at this time of year.

Sometimes, as I walk up to my bed at night, steeped in the quiet stillness and introspection of this time of year, I see a queue of these souls slowly following me up my stairs, awaiting their moment to talk to me and explain why they have come.

Many people at this time of year celebrate the season with specific rituals about crossing the veil and spirit communion.

But for me, I don't need to do these rituals.

I have always found that this happens more at this time of year, regardless of who I am, what I believe, or what I do or don't do.

These souls still arrive, and my ability to hear and see them is always so much stronger and clearer in these months.

There are natural patterns to how this occurs, and one just slowly notices that the energies which are present and needed to assist spirit visitations and materialisations are stronger and more powerful right now.

Seeing energies spiral and swirl in my home in preparation for the spirit world visitors is a key sign for me that the spiritual powers are rising and the divine is orchestrating stronger, more powerful and more visible spirit meetings with myself.

A Safe Haven for Spirit

I am always comforted and so happy when my spirit visitors arrive.

Sometimes their stories are so sad.

I always want to listen and help, and know they find my home a safe haven when they need this.

But often, after they speak with me, which can be before a client connects or sometimes when a client is present, I sense a great relief in their souls once their message or story has been shared.

And in this moment, I sometimes see them ascending to heaven and the higher realms when the bridge between the two worlds has been achieved and they have given what it was they came to give.

Other times, some souls decide to stay and hang around to help their loved ones or to help me in the spiritual activities which happen in my home.

Living with so many spirit visitors makes life busy and so full of love and spirit activity on so many levels.

This, for me, is my normal world and an everyday occurrence.

And I wouldn't have it any other way...
