Fear blocks our understanding and following our destiny. The deepest part of our mind or our subconscious mind is not subject to the familiar laws of time. Old wounds or traumas can still affect us as if they inflicted yesterday. Understanding will lessen our fear. Our fears are often of events that happened earlier in this life or even further back in a previous life. When you understand your fundamental purpose it is a truly transforming experience.
I gave a tarot reading to a woman once who even though she was with a man who she knew loved her she had a constant fear of losing him it transpired in the reading that she had lost him in the Great War of 1914 she had never recovered from the loss. The realisation that she had been given this wonderful opportunity to have this relationship again filled her with joy and gratitude, her anxiety subsided considerably and as a result she was able to relax with her lover and have more fun.
Her task in this life was to recognise the immortality of love overriding the obstacles of the conscious mind. A year later we met again she was married another commitment she had been afraid of she told me that she now loved more freely and did not need to hold back.
