Be Aware Of Your Moods

Be Aware of Your Moods

Our moods are like seasons; they can change in the blink of an eye.  We can be like a soft spring day, all sunny and good. Or our mood could darken and become like an ugly thunderstorm, grey and foreboding!  We cannot always be like that beautiful sunny spring day because of the circumstances of life. What we can do is manage our moods.

In other words, you feel low because of the circumstances around you. You and a friend had a terrible fight and you feel the friendship is now over! Rather than dwell on the feeling of termination, perhaps step away and reflect. What? Why? How? Who? When?

Whatever you did to contribute to the bad feeling, you must bear some responsibility for. How could you have handled it differently? When both of you have cooled off, try reaching out to her again. Your friend is probably just as hurt as you are.

Don’t dwell in the negative emotion, nothing good comes from that.  Instead become proactive and figure out how to resolve the problem at hand.

Sometimes we worry about things that are more concrete. Rather than dwelling on the negative, do something to change that. There is always a way to change the outcome. What you need to do is not sit and stew on the darkness around you, but rather light a torch and the light will guide you to where you need to go and what you need to do.

I look forward to helping you out, and I trust that this blog brought you some peace and gave you some good insight.
