It was necessary at the time. You have now emerged a different person and have a different perspective on what life is about and it is time for you to realise that it is not all work and no play. You've got to come up with some thoughts and feelings on what you really want from life and to look at your dreams and aspirations and try and combine some sort of material security with a vision of how you would like to live your life. This will probably involved moving closer to something that nature has to offer for you. Whether this is the countryside, a slower pace or maybe taking things part time. Only you can tell what opportunities may be involved but you really do think that you're so overwhelmed that you have no choice. Think again. There are lots of choices and only you can decide what is most important for you and not worry about what other people think. This is a time for you to think about what you want for your life.
