The bounty of nature has bestowed us with the gift of crystals for our health and benefit. Each of those beautiful stones has its own quality, and simply holding one in your hand can make a tremendous difference to the way you feel. But first it must be cleansed and this is done by holding the crystal under cold running water; a tap would do, but a clear running stream is much, much better.

This is a beautiful pink stone which is associated with love. It has a calming effect on the body and its gentle energy promotes
peace and relaxation.

This crystal has a vitalizing effect. It helps strengthen you if you are going through a difficult time. It also stimulates blood
circulation and warms you if you are cold.
ADVENTURINE
A lovely green stone which is good for sensitive or irritated skin. It is also beneficial if you are nervous, anxious, or tormented.
It helps clear blockages caused by stress.
AMETHYST
This beautiful purple stone - associated with spirituality - has a relaxing, cooling, effect which can loosen cramped muscles and may be used to treat headaches. It is also a good stone to hold if you are meditating.
ROCK CRYSTAL
It can be used effectively in any situation and it has a harmonizing effect which can promote emotional balance.
EPIDOTE
This is a very good crystal for fatigue especially if it is caused by illness or mental strain.
LOPIS LOZULI
Promotes self-confidence and self-assurance.
NEPHRITE
This crystal helps you detoxify, helping to promote a better flow of energy.
SMOKY QUARTZ
Helpful for tension and to relieve stress.
CARNELIAN
This is a good crystal to use if you are prone to nightmares.
These are but a few of the many semi-precious stones that Mother Nature has kindly given us. Select the crystal that you are most drawn to, although some people believe that the crystal chooses its owner and not the other way around.
