Butterflies are deep and powerful representations of life, however their life span is very short, lasting only from a week to a maximum of several months. They are a reminder of how short life can be and how to make the most of it. Butterflies are not only beautiful, but they also hold a number of spiritual symbolisms, including spiritual rebirth, transformation, change, hope and life.
A butterfly crossing your path definitely means something positive. So if a butterfly comes into sight (and especially if it lands on you) you should stay positive, because most likely it has some good news for you.
A butterfly also reminds you of the power of appreciation. Go out of your way, at least once every day, to appreciate someone. Give a compliment or tell someone they’re doing a good job. Be specific, look them in the eyes and tell them what it is you appreciate about them. Get in the daily habit of appreciating others at work, at home, in a supermarket, anywhere! It costs nothing to appreciate another, but the boomerang effects can be great. You are delivering good vibes and this enables the Law of Attraction in your own life.
Some believe butterflies are winged messengers from the spirit world that send signals and validations to help guide us through life. I suggest you pay attention and listen to your intuition when you encounter a butterfly. Focus on your thoughts, feelings, and senses to receive the message from the angels that butterflies help signal are present around you. Try and plant things in your garden to attract them; Buddleia, Lavender and Lilac are just some of many that can bring you not only a smile but potentially a new start.
