Animals and Empaths

12th August 2021

Animals and Empaths

Have you wondered why some animals are drawn to empaths?

It’s because empaths are highly sensitive. They understand the emotions and motivations of those around them on a different level, so it’s no wonder animals are drawn to them. Animals can differentiate between kind people, and those who represent a danger to themselves or their owner.

For example, my partner was walking our dog who is the friendliest dog ever. However, one evening two guys came out of some nearby bushes and approached my partner. Our dog sensed danger and stood in front of my partner, growled and showed his teeth. He wouldn’t back down as he sensed danger, until my partner told him too. Luckily the guys dispersed.

People who empathize with animals normally end up working with them, as the can feel their thoughts and emotions. It is well known fact that animals heal empaths and if you come home feeling negatively charged the animal might pick up that feeling, absorb it and mirror the owners’ feelings.

As animals are not dishonest or deceptive, empaths have little to fear when sharing their emotional baggage with them. That’s why a loyal animal seems to be the most reliable companion!
