Your battle has probably been disguised under other names, different tactics, emotional blackmail, depression, anger, fear, but you have suffered and the suffering is only behind the need to sort things out. You've experienced conflict between a need for self assertion and a longing for emotional closeness. It's been hard for you to express yourself and it's been hard for you to be healthy. This justifiable anger made you fearful that others will reject you or find you unlovable. Those early experiences that have contributed to where things have antagonised the whole situation. You must work to your own ideals and be sensitive to yourself and others and have a realistic acceptance of human limits.
