The Hanged Man represents suspension in our life, while we make a decision. It is usually based on the expression of our imagination which comes through with dreams and visions. We need to reflect in order to be able to move on and we have to stop sometimes and take account and pause and re-evaluate everything that's gone on around us, before we make another move otherwise we've learnt nothing. This is to do with the material side of life, for the Pentacles deal with goods and possessions in one way or another. So you're being asked to look at your materialistic side of life and look at the way in which you earn your money. Things happen slowly for you and you're unusually around some sort of major finance. If you don't have any finance you are trying hard to work towards doing it. You will always put your financial security first. This is quite earthbound of you so this is making you feel that some sort of sacrifice needs to be made, for there is a message of financial opportunity coming to you and you have the fixed focus to go through with this. You're capable of very deep study whether you are young or old. Indeed educating yourself is a joy and you love ways of learning to try and make more money through training or experience of apprenticeship but there is no doubt you would have to make a sacrifice in your personal life. Now you know in your heart of hearts how necessary this may be, but the experience you're going through is about helping you to learn more about yourself so that you emerge more spiritual and wiser. You will have to look at life from an altered angle and the traditional approach is not necessarily the one you will take. Indeed you might change your mind several times. This is difficult for you're normally someone who works with traditional experience and you hold great personal value on some sort of materialistic approach, but this is requiring something different and therefore you must think how you will cope with this new experience. It may be what you want but how will you cope. So you must look at every aspect of it and only move when you're fully happy with your own decision and not because you felt pressured into making a decision too soon.
