To make sure that everything is written down and to go through an order and to make sure you have a note of everything so that you can really see what's going on, look at making any little sacrifices wherever necessary, so that you can budget yourself through these difficult times. Anything where you can use your creative skills to bring in some more cash would really help. Make sure you're as honest and as diligent as you can be and realize that this will be a slow process where you cannot cut any corners.
