She is the mother figure which is asking you to look after yourself and those that you care about including the people, your friends, your family and your environment. What you have is a gift and a talent for something that you have not tried yet. This is something new and yes there is a risk involved, there is no guarantee but you will learn a lot and maybe even if you fail you will be able to more knowledgeable and experienced for the next time but the Empress is telling you there is so much available to you and you're resourceful within yourself. This card is about wealth, health and abundance and the Seven of Pentacles is telling you that you may gamble and not get it right first time. The Empress is about looking after your own future and being a mother figure to yourself. You must value your possessions, the people that you love and care about and ask what the best is for everyone around you including yourself. It's about your security for the future, being practical and full of ambition - you have knowledge, experience and a common sense that tells you to stick with the tried and tested but at the same time you are capable of more and you're being asked to look at something new that involves an investment. Maybe it's of your time and maybe it's of a financial nature but either way you will not know anything until you start. This will cause you to feel a sense of well being that causes you to realise that you are capable of being resourceful from a material security and providing yourself with a sense of well-being by investing in the present for the future.
