You have chosen the Empress and the Nine of Wands. The Empress is about the valued possessions in our life for it is ruled by the Planet Venus. This also deals with the love, romance, marriage and sex in our lives. It's the feminine side of all of us but the Empress is the mother figure and she deals with looking after the wealth, health and abundance within our life. It is full of security and it's feeling that you are being looked after by something greater than you. Your input is essential. You need to know that you are in touch with yourself and that there is plenty of health, wealth and abundance ready for you. You have a slight problem you are trying to defend without success. This is what the Nine of Wands is telling us. Things are becoming a problem and you are exhausted. You are doing too much. You're physically worn out and you're so stubborn you won't stop. You're fighting a losing battle and you will not surrender - you're trying to protect what's yours but it's getting too much. You're hanging on and trying to protect what's already got out of hand. You need to give up and get on with something else. What you really want to do is stop feeling oppressed. If you're not careful you will have a setback in your health because you're doing far too much of the wrong things. The Empress is about the physical fulfilment of your desires and the material pleasures in life, not the spiritual. Put your energies into something that's much more fertile. You're too earth bound and grounded with what you're doing. Mother earth is very real. You need to care and nurture something that is not flogging a dead horse. You have to come up with the realisation that this must happen and that you must give up and put your energies into something else. You're becoming too tired, sticking to the same old thing, getting nowhere fast. Try to indulge yourself and look after yourself. The Empress is going to help you; it's such a good card. You've got to have the realisation that things will happen as long as you make the right choices. Give this up now; it is far too much like hard work. Start something different.
