There is a short window in time each day just before sunrise where the world becomes still and quiet, the veil between the living and those passed is at its thinnest allowing a powerful level of connection between our past and present.
Simply being in the stillness and calm offers us the opportunity to gently reset, releasing past burdens through reflection gives us the ability to be truly present.
It's through the letting go process which starts with reflection we begin healing. In our fast-paced lives, moments like these can feel irrelevant. But the blue hour is more than just a pretty sky. It’s a reminder. A space between what was and what’s coming. A natural invitation to slow down, reflect, and reconnect—with ourselves, with nature, and with the present moment.
The blue hour reminds us that change is possible, it doesn't have to be dramatic and loud, try it for yourself, you don’t have to change your whole routine. Just step outside a little earlier in the morning, notice the world in transition. Let it mirror your own transitions—your hopes, your endings, your in-betweens.
The blue hour teaches us that you can let go of whatever is holding you back but most importantly it teaches us that sometimes to move forwards we simply need to stand still.
If the world can rest in minutes then so can you.
Love & Light,
Sara
