I think about what, and why, we keep coming back to Earth, Quite a Lot, particularly because it can take Quite a While to figure out who we are, and why it's taking so long to get whatever It is, sorted! For me, when I'm reading the Tarot Cards (and the 8 of Pentacles turns up) it's suggesting that this client is well on the way!
I think about Hercules, and the labours that he was fated to work through: and, just at the point of success, his vengeful step-mother (Hera, rightly fed up with her husband, Zeus's shenanigans) sabotaged his efforts, because he was the result of yet another one. And he could well, still, be wandering around the Earth, trying to remedy Things.
I was four years old when I began to have four Dreams (like fragments from old Movies) hinting at the 'unfinished business' from four very different Lives, and each set on the stage of the ancient Island of Crete. And KNOWING that they were to be my Challenges, this time around. It was to take seventy four years, before I did, when I sat on a tier of stone steps, in the ruined village of Lato, and was welcome back by an invisible audience. Some folk (if they'd only been allocated the three score and ten years, as said in the Bible) would never have made it. But I've been lucky to have been gifted with a deal of Perseverance!
Which is what I try to convey, when faced with a Client who's on the point of Giving Up, because this is the precursor of when we'll be given the opportunity of stepping on to another path. And when the Tarot Card depicting the 8 of Swords turns up (a woman held back by bonds of her own making and behind a wall) it's signifying it's time to take a deep breath and Go for It!
We live in a World made up of Moments, of Choices, and of not repeating the old patterns that got us to that point. And, when we step forward into a different way of Thinking, is when we KNOW we have a limitless power to make a ne Movie!
