Mobile V Relationships

Are you constantly distracted by your mobile ? Do you have it in hand even at the dinner table ? When you are in the presence of  one you care about or love, are you rude enough to be more interested in the text message on your device ? Do you think that you are so important , that if  you turn off the phone that the world will come to an end?

That will not happen and this could be called an addition. I am sure that you have figured out that you can lose your ability to face reality and converse face to face. During this holiday season you could test yourself by putting the phone out of sight and turn it off. Do you really think that at the holiday feast  anyone wants to bother with someone who it not there, but in phone text land. This was suppose to give you more time for leisure but has taken over many lives and not for the better.

Besides taking away your ability to look someone in the eye, it seems easier to say what you want, hurtful or not on a phone. When you are honest with yourself, you know this little thing interferes with your sleep, meals and your relationships.  Do not be fooled, it takes over your life. How would you feel if your loved one breaks up over the phone? No backbone or they would do it in person. This year put you phone off and away. Really enjoy that holiday gathering and know what you have been missing. Think about this, would you hire  someone with a preoccupied hand on the phone, or a doctor to operate on you to save your life with his cell next to a scalpel? Have a wonderful holiday, and think about how your phone should fit into you future.

If you cannot put it aside, ask yourself is it  truly worth it.
