This is a mantra and a prayer for healing. It is a very simple method of transforming energy... & training the mind to mindful and positive action. We may often find in life, when someone experiences something bad. They may very quickly become upset with bad thoughts, causing an emotional slump, which may be very painful at the least and causing great suffering. Sometimes, people can become stuck in these thought patterns, days. weeks, months, years, lifetimes.. Mind training is a form of mind medicine & mindfullness.
Key is to understand, that we will all have these moments, where one may feel low, or have difficult thought patterns, which may cause suffering to self and others. It may be helpful, when processing these experiences, to gently nudge yourself to prayer. A very good mantra or prayer which Buddhists often use to heal negativity is "Om mani padme hum." This is the prayer or mantra of Buddha Avalokiteshvara, also known as Chenrisig the bodhisattva of compassion..
"Hail to the Jewel in the Lotus".. The Dalai lama is said to be an emanation of Buddha Chenrezig.. It is traditional that, whenever something bad or negative happens, to quickly chant this mantra over the situation. Blessing it and quickly transmuting negative karma to positive, by blessing it with sacred words and mantra, after raising one's hands 3 times to, "The three Jewels." The one good thing about this beautiful sacred practice, is that, it may very quickly prevent the mind from thinking a whole array of bad things and also allows one to train one's mind to go straight to a practice of harmless action, by focusing one's mind on chanting multiples of, "Om mani padme hum." Chanting in 10s, 100s, 1000s, whilst keeping one's mind focused on loving kindness and compassion for all living beings, creates a beautiful sacred space of healing and positive transformative practice. Whereby the Buddha in you, bows to the Buddha in the person or situation of negative action.. Instantly blessing, releasing and transforming all frequencies that were once negative to positive. Saying " The Buddha in me, Bows to the Buddha in you" & then chanting "Om Mani Padmi hum." And then begin to chant the mantra in multiples.
One usually chants until one feels better and energies lift and improve. Knowing that, as you chant these sacred words, many divine blessings of the Buddhas will be raining down upon you and the situation, transforming, healing and blessing it. Once you embark on this beautifully profound and sacred practice, your being begins to purify and develop a mandala of peace and harmony, blessing others and all living beings within your mandala... & negative thought patterns begin to train towards positive thought patterns. Just like that. This mandala, which forms as a result of pure dedication and prayer, is a real frequency and energetic shift.. within you and your energy field. This transformation is a sacred journey, blessed and supported by the Buddha, on your spiritual journey to enlightenment as an aspiring Bodhisattva in action... Often, people have spoken of profoundly amazing experiences or miracles, when they embark on such sacred mind training and mantra practice.. Bringing healing and peace to situations which may have previously been impossible to resolve. Resulting in a great feeling of harmonious living and balance thereafter, which previously one never felt in this enlightened way..... in this life.
So let me wish you a happy mantra journey &.... Joy, happiness and all the blessings of " The Lotus Born" & May the blessings of the Buddha Christos be with you.. Mary Maria (Dolma)
