How I Became Spiritual
Am I really spiritual? The short answer is yes. But what makes someone spiritual? Do you feel energy? Do you sense and feel things paranormal? Or do you say and see what is going to happen?
Often my clients come to me and ask “How do I know I am spiritual?”
Personally, I am not some mystical human that believes in everything! However I do believe that everyone has their own ability. Being spiritual is about how you use this ability to make things easier and clearer to understand.
What made you spiritual?
I wasn’t brought up in a typical “spiritual” family. I was brought up in a north east council estate by a catholic family with traditional views, so I couldn’t always be myself. Back in 2008 I was on a family holiday in Africa. On my final day of the holiday I was bitten by a mosquito. At first I felt completely fine, but after we flew home, within 4 days I had a fever and all the symptoms of malaria. I was rushed to hospital and my condition worsened. They put me to sleep to ease the pressure on my body, but during this coma I began to see things. A mysterious gentleman came to me in a vision and told me “this is not how your life will end.”
When I woke up and started my road to recovery, I began to feel spirit around me; I told a teacher in my school about her brother who passed away during the ‘troubles’ in Ireland. The messages wouldn’t stop! After that I had more and more brief encounters with spirit. Confused, I spoke to my nana Rose, who was a traditional medium and psychic. She told me “Son you have the gift; you have what I have. Help people. Take these cards and help people.”
I was given my first deck of tarot cards by my nana Rose and at first they were confusing, hard to understand and I felt disconnected with them. So I put them in a box and forgot all about them. I have always wanted to help people, but I guess I didn’t choose the conventional way, as now I talk to the dead! I’m always thankful that my nana Rose gave me the gift and I use her cards in all my readings now. Connect with the cards and they connect with you.
Everyone is spiritual, some just don’t tune into it!
