Crystal Power

Crystals and various stones really stand out and draw us to them. They can be stunning and mesmerizing, but often we are drawn to crystals that can help us in a particular area of our life at certain times. Crystals are not only nice to look at, they can help you focus your energy and help in healing.

To begin with, different crystals control various chakras or areas of the human body. These are modelled after the tree of life. The head chakra being the top of the tree and so forth. When a person is looking for help with their focus and mind, they need to tune into their head chakra and a crystal that helps with that focus is citrine. Citrine is a gold/ yellow stone. There are a variety of crystals that deal with a multitude of characteristics, but for now here is a general guide for various crystals you may find helpful in your journey in life.

Amethyst is a spiritual crystal that helps you make the right decision. It was worn by kings, emperors, and royalty. It is believed to help in making judgement that is guided by the spirit. So, when you are unsure, let the vibration of an amethyst guide you. Amethyst is usual a purple stone, in varying degrees.

Rose Quartz is the wish in the bottle stone. It helps bring what you wish for to you. Rose Quartz carries and receives messages. It is a great stone for love. In healing, they say if you rub a rose quartz 33 times and say remove my pain, it will help remove your pain. Surprisingly, I have a medical doctor client who had kidney stones and nothing was working and he tried using a rose quartz, rubbed it 33 times asking to remove the kidney stones, and the kidney stones were gone in a day or two. Could it be a coincidence? Of course. Did he have a sense of peace working with the rose quartz? Yes. So it worked on some level for him. Rose quartz is a pale pink stone.

Hematite is a silver or aluminium looking stone that helps bring you a marriage partner. It is a stone that helps with the heart and blood. I guess you could say it truly helps with the heart on a physical and emotional level since it brings you a love partner and also helps heal the heart.

One other stone that helps bring your prosperity and money luck is pyrite or fool’s gold. You might have guessed it, it looks like a gold nugget and that is why it is called fool’s gold. I have given pyrite to people embarking on a new endeavour to help them prosper. They have looked at it as their good luck charm and have done the same for friends, so it is a neat crystal and does seem lucky in bringing prosperity.
