A Halloween Tale: Rosie's Spooky Experience

I was picking my children up from school and getting their coats and bags ready for them.

I had just come from a special needs meeting with my other child so I had her photo in my hand.

Suddenly a child was by me and said "isn't she beautiful".

Yes thankyou - feeling awkward as I didn't understand why a child was there, I looked at her and she was dressed in normal clothes, not a school uniform, so I asked where is your mummy or daddy, and then my children came rushing in.

I looked back for the child and watched her walk through the back wall, that totally confused me, so I got my children and went to reception and described the child and her clothes and hair band - their answer was "yes, she died from a heart attack in the playground behind this school" which was another special needs school.

I will never forget that experience.
