Are you typical of your star sign? If so, how?
I am very much my Scorpio Sun but not the stereotypical negative characteristics. I enjoy learning about people and how they think. I like walking in the darker side of things because it gives me more appreciation of the light.
How long have you been giving readings for?
I've been giving readings to others for about 5 years, however I have been using cards and other forms of divination for myself for over a decade.
What advice would you give to those customers contemplating their first reading?
Don't be scared; tarot readers are not fortune tellers (some might be). The energy around you and the messages from the universe are not set in stone; the cards are there to guide, not dictate.
What do you do for fun outside of psychic readings?
I read, I learn and I practice my craft. I'm also partial to crime shows.
What prompted you to start giving readings?
Someone asked me for one, it was that simple. Up to that point I had only used the cards for myself and it wasn't until someone asked for a reading that I realised how much I enjoy giving readings and how much help they can be for people.
What spiritual skills do you have?
I have a Spirit Guide who sometimes gets involved with my readings but not often - I know if he is poking at my deck then it is something important. I am also a Reiki Master and feel the connection to the healing energies around us; I am trained in distance healing.
What tools do you use within your readings?
My basics are my deck, a selenite stick and a Kambaba Jasper pendulum.
What’s your most memorable psychic experience?
I grew up in a converted nunnery and thought that it was normal to see the faded image of a nun carrying a candle to go through your bathroom wall. Years later I found out that the wall was a partition that was put in when they turned them into apartments, so she was probably just walking her normal nightly patrol.
When did you discover your gifts?
I think I always knew I had them but I didn't really start using them until I was 19/20years old and even then I was hidden and solitary. It has been in the last 5-10 years that I have been more open with my gifts.
Why should a client choose you for their psychic reading?
I am not good at fluffy sugar-coated readings and I will tell you what the universe wants you to hear. For me a reading is a partnership because I can tell you all the signs and energies but you are the one who puts it into context. My readings are all about you and for that to happen, you have to be involved. I will always do my best to answer your questions, but if the universe wants you to hear a message on a different subject, I will talk about that too.
