What spiritual skills do you have?
I am a tarot reader, I have studied this and keep on studying it, every day is a school day. Prior to learning tarot in an official capacity and doing courses I would reach for it anyway. I have dabbled in mediumship and psychic abilities for about 5 years but it was sidelined when I took up my tarot cards properly. I have connected with guides and my intuition is based on a knowing. I cannot explain what happens, I have to keep the trust in my cards, and my insights and hope that I help people with this skill.
When did you discover your gifts?
I am not sure I have gifts, I have worked to attain knowledge. I was drawn to spiritual churches and have done many courses, sat in circles, gone on mediumship and spiritual weekends etc. I have visited mediums and tarot readers. My mum passed when I was 22 so I guess that spurred this into reality. I kept buying tarot cards and sitting in circle. In 2023 I decided to take the bull by the horns and immerse myself a little and out of that I ended up on a professional tarot course, then it just took off my passion was lit, and I made the time to devote myself to this journey.
What tools do you use within your readings?
I use tarot cards, I learn't as many do, with the Rider Waite deck, but I can pick up most decks and work with them based on the Rider Waite theme. I can pick up oracle cards and tune into their energy when needed, but my go to is definately tarot, I like a system and they have a system.
How long have you been giving readings for?
Officially I would say 2 years, however I have been giving readings for much longer, all my life for fun and in line with practice with spiritual friends alongside mediumship etc.
What prompted you to start giving readings?
I started with myself, seeking answers, and then with friends helping them, just for fun. My desire developed when I actually took a course and started to understand tarot more and how it also helped me, then I was fixed and knew it was for me and I can see myself giving tarot readings well into my 80's.
What’s your most memorable psychic experience?
I have had many, and a few have popped into my head, but lets go to when I went back to churches after a time 2013, I went away on a psychic mediumship retreat and I sat and gave my first mediumship message, I had no idea what I was doing, The man got so emotional that I apologised, however he was happy as it was his first time that a certain person had come through for him. I saw the images and just explained them. To me looking back maybe it was more psychic than mediumship, but I was happy that he was happy and surprised that I managed to see what I saw.
Why should a client choose you for their psychic reading?
I know my tarot cards, upright and reversed, and I have even started taking note when the fall neutral and pull that into the reading. I have a mass of life experience good and bad, I am connected spiritually, and get psychic hits and intuitive messages. I use my cards for my life and I have noticed how much they help and how accurate they can be, not always, but that is in my interpretations, no one is perfect, but together I feel that I have always helped whomever I have done a reading for, both on a card and personal and compassionate level.
What advice would you give to those customers contemplating their first reading?
What have you got to lose! If nothing else the cards and the reader may give you a whole different take on your situation, numerous things you have not thought about. It will help you see the situation instead of sitting in it and then the guidance cards will come to shine a light on various avenues to help you move forward or get out of that box or even hamster wheel you may be stuck on or in. Sometimes we just need to get out of our own way and as the Hanged Man would say see another perspective.
Are you typical of your star sign? If so, how?
I am a Capricorn, so there is that work ethic there, there is that climbing ethic there. Capricorns get a bad wrap and we are the Devil in tarot. It depends on how you look at it, I may have star sign qualities but I am also a mix of upbringing, learning, life experiences and heartfelt emotions and desire - which Capricorns are not meant to have but secretly do. So I would say, I am somewhat typical but not wholly.
What do you do for fun outside of psychic readings?
I love my friends, I live by the beach and I am now a grandma. So my fun time is spending time with all of these people - going for food or drinks, the beach, long walks along our very long beach. Shopping for tarot cards or random spiritual and healing books, YouTube, city breaks and beautiful art and architecture.
