Are you typical of your star sign? If so, how?
I definitely identify with being an Aries! I’ve got the fun, impulsive, and bold side that people often associate with the sign. But I don’t really fit the stereotype of being hot-headed; I’m actually pretty even-tempered. I also pride myself on being honest and dependable, and I usually say what’s on my mind. For me, being an Aries is about embracing that adventurous, energetic spirit while staying grounded and true to myself.
How long have you been giving readings for?
I’ve been deeply attuned to intuition since childhood, but I only fully embraced tarot in the last 10 years. The first sign came while I was living in England, when I felt drawn to a particular deck. My husband, without knowing, ended up buying that exact set for me. When I opened the book, the very first line read: ‘In a land far away, we’ll call it Minnesota…’ — which felt incredible, because I’m from Minnesota. From that moment, I knew tarot was meant for me. Once I began reading, it felt so natural, as if I had been doing it for years.
What advice would you give to those customers contemplating their first reading?
My advice to someone new to tarot would be: don’t be nervous. A lot of the myths you see in movies and TV aren’t true. For example, the Death card doesn’t actually mean physical death — it usually represents transformation, endings that make way for new beginnings, and personal growth. Tarot is really a tool for guidance and confirmation, helping you connect with your intuition and see situations from a fresh perspective.
What prompted you to start giving readings?
What really prompted me to start reading tarot was that it felt like a calling. I had never seriously considered it before, but one day it was all I could think about, and I just knew I had to begin. Since then, I’ve even designed three sets of my own cards — one of them inspired by my beloved greyhound who passed away a couple of years ago. Tarot has become not just a practice, but a deeply personal and creative journey for me.
What do you do for fun outside of psychic readings?
Outside of tarot, I’m very passionate about dog rescue. I volunteer at a Greyhound Rescue center here in England. Coming from Minnesota, I hadn’t seen many sighthounds before, but when I moved to the United Kingdom, I completely fell in love with them. My husband and I also love to travel, both around the UK and back in the USA. Recently, we did an American road trip that took us through nine states, which was such an incredible adventure! Another passion of mine is paranormal rescue. My husband and I are deeply interested in exploring and finding answers to all things paranormal. Together, we also write books on the paranormal, tarot, Reiki, and everything in between. It’s a way for us to combine curiosity, creativity, and a love of storytelling into something we can share with others.
What spiritual skills do you have?
My strongest spiritual skill is my deep intuition. I often sense and feel things before they happen, even if I don’t always know what to do with the information at first. Tarot has been a powerful tool in helping me harness and refine that gift. Through the cards, I’ve learned how to channel my intuitive impressions into guidance and clarity, both for myself and for others.
What tools do you use within your readings?
When I do a tarot reading, I create a beautiful, intentional space. I light a candle and incense to set the energy, and I always begin by focusing on the intention — that’s the most important part. I ask the person receiving the reading to visualise me shuffling the cards and to think about the guidance they want to come through. I use my specially designed Ghosthound Tarot cards, which are based on the traditional Rider–Waite deck, and then I let my intuition guide the messages as they flow through me to the client.
When did you discover your gifts?
I discovered my gifts very early in childhood. I often saw flashes of images in my mind that would later come true, and my family quickly realised I had a different kind of sensitivity. Having an identical twin made this even more fascinating. Back in 1986, we took part in a study that explored how twins can send and receive messages. Typically, one twin is the ‘sender’ and the other the ‘receiver.’ In my case, I received 10 out of 10 messages correctly from my twin, which clearly showed my ability to receive intuitive impressions. That experience confirmed what I had always felt, that my gifts were real and deeply connected to who I am.
Why should a client choose you for their psychic reading?
Clients choose me because I provide a supportive and trustworthy environment for their reading. I set people at ease by creating a calm, intentional space, and I approach every session with care, honesty, and respect. My focus is on clarity and empowerment — helping clients gain insight and confirmation rather than fear or confusion. I combine years of intuitive practice with my own specially designed Ghosthound Tarot cards, inspired by the Rider–Waite tradition, but clients also have the option to choose a reading with the classic Rider–Waite deck if they prefer. My goal is always to ensure that each client leaves with guidance they can apply to their life and a renewed sense of confidence moving forward.
What’s your most memorable psychic experience?
My most memorable psychic experience happened one evening while I was driving home. As I passed my hairdresser’s house, I suddenly had a vivid vision of police cars and an ambulance outside. When I actually drove by, the house was quiet and empty — I knew she was away for the weekend, so I brushed it off. But about thirty minutes later, another neighbour called to ask why emergency vehicles were at Maria’s house. I was stunned. She had just arrived home and discovered her husband had suffered a heart attack. That moment taught me a powerful lesson: always trust your intuition.
