What’s your most memorable psychic experience?
(written with the client's express permission and blessing!) During a tarot reading for a client who I had never met or read for before, I knew the cards were telling me that she needed to go to Egypt! I felt so foolish saying it but as soon as I did she looked shocked and told me she had property in Egypt and that she had been thinking of going out there. That was the moment that I really knew I wasn't just regurgitating any old meaning to the cards but truly channeling the unique meaning for that particular client.
What spiritual skills do you have?
Being able to channel the meanings of tarot readings is my biggest and strongest skill. I practice ethical magick of various forms and so I have a lot of skill with reading and manipulating energy. I also am somewhat precognizant, knowing something is going to happen ahead of time if I or someone I know is going to have a big emotional reaction to it, but so far this has been limited to myself and people I am very close to. I am studying remote viewing techniques currently.
Why should a client choose you for their psychic reading?
If you're a first time client you should pick me because I have had a LOT of first time clients- in fact, I am currently writing a guide on how to have a tarot reading. I am extremely experienced in guiding beginners through the process and easing any nerves or concerns they may have about it. Aside from that, I am a deeply compassionate person and I deliver even the most unwanted or disappointing answers with care and dignity and will always suggest ways we can use the tarot reading to search for ways to turn a negative into a positive. I don't sugar coat the truth but I care deeply for my clients and will strive to find something positive for them to work towards no matter what.
How long have you been giving readings for?
I have been practicing esoteric arts for as far back as I can remember, but I began reading for friends and family about 20 years ago! Professionally I have been reading for about 7 years and it has been my full time job along with writing about tarot for the last two years.
What advice would you give to those customers contemplating their first reading?
Remember that tarot readers are some of the most caring and empathetic people on planet earth and we truly want to deliver honest readings but with compassion and care. Tarot shows us the road we are on but we always have the power within us to make a better life and a better reality if we wish. I would also say that if you get a positive outcome from the reading and you hear everything you hoped to hear, make sure that you still heed any advice or caveats the reader provided to ensure the successful outcome comes to fruition.
Are you typical of your star sign? If so, how?
I don't think so! Other than being a bit stubborn, I don't think I particularly match the typical Taurus profile! I think I'm very spur-of-the-moment with most things, I'm not very down to earth and I like spontaneity rather than long winded plans. That said, I am quite clumsy which I'm told is a strong sign of the Taurus, so maybe a little bit!
What do you do for fun outside of psychic readings?
I love cooking! I enjoy making sure everyone is well fed and enjoying the pleasures of food, and a hobby of mine is trying to strike good balances in creating recipes that are both tasty and healthy! As a celiac I also develop my own gluten free treats. I make aromatherapy candles on the side and I love sitting down with a good book at the end of a long day. A relatively new hobby of mine is amateur mycology (that's mushroom identification and knowledge in plain English).
